About This Role
Territory Families - the NT Government's child and family services agency - is a DAMA employer and actively recruits social workers from overseas. Social Work is an approved DAMA occupation. Roles come with DAMA 482 sponsorship, hardship allowances, and a direct PR pathway. AASW registration (Australian Association of Social Workers) or eligibility is required.

Subclass 482 (Temporary Skills Shortage) allows employers to sponsor overseas workers for up to 4 years. It is the most common sponsorship visa and can lead to permanent residency via the 186 ENS visa.
Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs) allow regional employers to sponsor overseas workers on a broader range of occupations with more flexible requirements than standard visas.
